The 23-Day Girlfriend by Mark Eklid – Review

Today I’m reviewing The 23-Day Girlfriend by Mark Eklid!

Here’s the blurb

Lonely heart Barry thought Gina might be too good to be true. He was right. Gina preys on vulnerable older men like Barry through online dating sites. She lures them in, uses them to set up a financial scam and then vanishes without trace. But when an angry victim of her fraudulent scheme comes looking for Gina, Barry is drawn into deadly danger and faces having to kill – or be killed.

Review

Recently divorced Barry doesn’t enjoy the single life.. he finds comfort in loving someone, the friendship and shared adventures..he knows where the last relationship went wrong.. he became complacent..ignored the signs..but that’s the past.. it’s time to move on.. he’s not exactly ready but he feels it’s the right time.

Barry takes the plunge and heads to a dating website.. he doesn’t really know how to start things so decides to wait to see if anyone chooses him..so he knows they really are interested…and that’s where his troubles start.

Gina likes to find lonely, recently divorced men as she knows just how to play them. She manipulates them with her sob stories and while they think they are starting a new and wonderful romance.. healing together.. what’s really happening is she’s setting up a fraud scheme that leads back to one person.. and its not her!

By an absolute fluke Barry gets wind of the scheme. At first he doesn’t believe it, then just simply doesn’t want to believe it.. but he’s not blind and kicks Gina into touch.

All’s well now yeah? No.. a blast from Gina’s past is looking to get his money back and Barry is the one in the firing line. Barry will do anything save his skin but Gina’s gone..

Given a deadline Barry uses every ounce of his intelligence and memory to put the pieces together and manages to track Gina down.. not knowing if Gina will help.

Now not to spoil things too much but this is where Gina really develops, as together they try to figure a way out of this mess.. but lets just say it doesn’t go to plan and what follows is murderously hilariously beautiful in it’s madness.

Barry is forced to do things he never would have thought possible.

Plot wise, while crazy and wild was woven superbly well.. I could quite easily see this adapted for TV as it would be one of those mad thrillers full of insane dark humour. It was just soooo good but you can’t help laugh at some of the things Barry get’s himself into.

The plot was certainly gripping but what made it even better was how easily it was mixed with development of the characters..pace and flow was just spot on so this has to be one of my favourite books of 2024 for sure!

Overall I found The 23-Day Girlfriend exhilarating.. I loved Barry’s misfortune and the lines he has to cross to get out of this mess but also cared about the outcome… I was invested.

I came across The 23-Day Girlfriend quite by chance..I took a punt one day on Instagram and noted an author selling signed copies of their book… I’m glad that post showed up on my screen that night.. it was meant to be..

Easy 5*

Moriarty (Sherlock Holmes Novel Book 2) by Anthony Horowitz

Today I’m reviewing Moriarty (Sherlock Holmes Novel Book 2) by Anthony Horowitz.

FYI.. while prepping for this review I’ve noticed I bought a kindle copy of the book and the paperback without noticing… must plan better David.. must plan better ha ha.

Here’s the blurb

Sherlock Holmes is dead.

Days after Holmes and his arch-enemy Moriarty fall to their doom at the Reichenbach Falls, Pinkerton agent Frederick Chase arrives from New York. The death of Moriarty has created a poisonous vacuum which has been swiftly filled by a fiendish new criminal mastermind. Ably assisted by Inspector Athelney Jones, a devoted student of Holmes’s methods of investigation and deduction, Chase must hunt down this shadowy figure, a man much feared but seldom seen, a man determined to engulf London in a tide of murder and menace.

The game is afoot . .

Review

Sherlock Holmes is dead…he fell to his doom along with his nemesis Moriarty.. but there’s a lasting legacy both will leave.

With Moriarty gone there’s a power vacuum waiting to be filled and the people who plan to take over are even more ruthless..

Pinkerton agent Fredrick Chase and Inspector Athelney Jones meet and quickly decide to join forces when a clue is found that links Moriarty to this new threat.. and a chance to meet this new enemy face to face…but with Moriarty gone how will they pull this off?

It’s a chance they can’t miss though, and this meeting sets them on a course where either they will succeed.. or they may die trying..these new criminals are ruthless.

Chase and Jones become partners that at times reminded me of Sherlock and Watson, Jones has a fascination with Sherlock which means he’s picked up a few skills… but will his judgement be spot on.. or will his prey stay one step ahead?

It’s a complex case, with lots of moving parts.. the question is can Chase and Jones put the pieces together.

The plot certainly had that Sherlock feel but with an extra kick.. the excitement of actually not knowing if the main characters would make it out alive was palpable.

There’s twists and turns along the way that really hook you in but what I really enjoyed was the earth shattering ending…. I mean.. I can’t, and won’t spoil it but I had to read one sentence about 5 times just to ensure my eyes weren’t failing me…

Moriarty had everything I expected and sooooo much more. Very clever plot from Anthony Horowitz.

5*

THE ANGEL FALLS (Ryan Jarrod series Book 1) by Colin Youngman – REVIEW

Today I’m going to be reviewing THE ANGEL FALLS (Ryan Jarrod series Book 1) by Colin Youngman!

Credit to my wife for this one, she highlighted the author is a local and I’ve been really enjoying tales set In/near my local area lately..Who knew we had such a good author hidden within Ashington!

Here’s the blurb

Six weeks. Just forty-two short days. That’s all it takes to rip the heart out of a city and change the lives of those who live there. Forever. One such life belongs to Ryan Jarrod. In the early hours of a wet winter’s morning on Tyneside, Ryan Jarrod approaches the end of his second shift as a Special Constable when he stumbles across the body of a savagely beaten Teddy McGuffie, a down-at-heel taxi driver. On the same night, an explosion rips through the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne’s student community. Casualties are high; the city brought to a standstill. And the University blast is only the beginning of a bloody reign of terror which threatens the very fabric of the region. With the McGuffie case shelved, Ryan vows to investigate it himself. When he uncovers links between the assault on McGuffie and a series of letters which seem to foretell the terror attacks, members of the force ridicule his theories. Except for one man: DCI Stephen Danskin. Danskin sees a lot of himself in the young Special. He breaks protocol. Invites Jarrod into the case. Together, they dive deeper into the tangled lives of those associated with the letters – and lay a trap to lure the killer to one of the region’s most iconic landmarks: The Angel of the North. What could possibly go wrong?

Review

Ryan Jarrod is a Special Constable who stumbles upon a badly beating man.. there’s real rage behind the attack and although Jarrod is only a Special Constable right now he has dreams to become so much more.. could this be his big break?

The really good thing about Jarrod from the off is that he’s selfless.. he’s just wants to bring bad people to justice… he doesn’t have an ego.

On the same night there’s a terrible explosion… but it’s only the first in a series of attacks that will rock those living in Newcastle and the surrounding area.

A local online news outlet dubs the bomber The Tyneside Tyrant.

While the police focus on the bombing Jarrod can’t move past the savage beating of Teddy McGuffie and it’s while he’s visiting his grandma that he starts to see a pattern to the attacks and a link to the McGuffie beating is found.

This Is where Detective Chief Inspector Danskin comes in.. he’s leading the investigation and sees potential in keeping Ryan Jarrod around. Jarrod sees what others don’t.. he’s young and has a lot to learn but it’s also clear he’s got what it takes.

As usual no spoilers from me but there’s twists and turns, and even when you think the case is solved there’s more headed our way.. wow.

I particularly loved the plot and how this is a perfect introduction to Ryan Jarrod…it’s teasing the future as he’s kind of a bystander at times but wow.. what a introduction.

Being based in my local area I found the tale even more fascinating.. reading scenes set in Newbiggin for example just gave me a real buzz.

There’s a tonne of characters each packed with their own development, everything all flowed well, nothing forced or out of place just a full on intriguing plot.

Great start to a series so I’m looking forward reading more soon!.

The Fallen Girls: (Detective Clara Jefferies Book 1) by Kathryn Casey

Today I’m reviewing The Fallen Girls: (Detective Clara Jefferies Book 1) by Kathryn Casey.

Here’s the blurb

She didn’t notice the corn stalks shiver a few feet to her right. By the time she looked up, the man towered above her. In a single movement he wrapped one thick hand around her waist, the other he clamped over her mouth, muffling her screams.

Detective Clara Jefferies has spent years running from her childhood in Alber, Utah. But when she hears that her baby sister Delilah has disappeared, she knows that the peaceful community will be shattered, her family vulnerable, and that that she must face up to her past and go home.

Clara returns to find that her mother, Ardeth, has isolated her family by moving to the edge of town, in the shadow of the mountains. Ardeth refuses to talk to the police and won’t let Clara through the front door, believing she and her sister-wives can protect their own. But Clara knows better than anyone that her mother isn’t always capable of protecting her children.

When Clara finds out that two more girls have disappeared, all last seen around the cornfields near her family’s home, she realizes it’s not just Delilah who’s in danger. And then she gets a call that a body has been found…

Clara will have to dig deep into the town’s secrets if she’s going to find Delilah. But that will mean confronting the reason she left. And as she gets closer to Delilah, she might be putting her more at risk…

Review

Detective Clara Jefferies escaped her home town many years ago… and didn’t look back….but it’s time to head home when her sister Delilah goes missing.

Clara has to face her past.. and judgement from everyone including her own family.. she needs to break down the walls to discover what has happened to her sister but no one is willing to talk.. she’s now an outsider.. and I think some are just angry she escaped and they didn’t!

Things get more tense when it becomes clear Dalilah isn’t the first young girl to go missing..

The town is full of secrets and the residents continue to stonewall the investigation but Clara knows she has to pile on the pressure to get some answers and fast! Time is running out to find her sister.

The Fallen Girls has a very tense, creepy feeling from the onset.. Clara was raised in an isolated polygamist society so you quickly see why no one is willing to trust her.. but soon she starts to make a little headway..but the slow pace just adds to the building tension!

As the story progresses we see events play out from different perspectives at times and this just added to the creepiness and psychological edge to the tale as you tried to work out who the killer is.. and why…most importantly will Detective Jefferies put the clues together and get there in time?

Not only was the plot intriguing but Kathryn Casey managed to portray the people, the setting, the emotions brilliantly..there was a very natural feel to the tale and that made it even more creepy.

When it comes to endings.. WOW.. those last few chapters had me gripped as the pieces came together as the action heated up.

Overall The Fallen Girls is dark, gritty and disturbingly brilliant. It’s like one of those true crime programmes or podcasts.. it’s so gruesomely enthralling.

Dark Prophecy by Anthony E. Zuiker : Level 26 – Book 2 – REVIEW

Today I’m reviewing Dark Prophecy by Anthony E. Zuiker. Book 2 in the Level 26 series.

I may be 12 years late to the party but my blog was set up with one main point other than honest reviews.. that being it will be a true reflection of my reading.

There’s so much choice out there and this has been on my radar for quite sometime so without further ado….

Here’s the blurb.

Steve Dark is a man on a mission. He is ready to embrace his destiny, and has nothing to lose . . .

Steve Dark was once a lost soul, torn between his family and his one-of-a-kind talent for hunting down serial killers – especially those so-called ‘Level 26’ killers whose depravity exceeds law enforcement’s official scale of evil. In his reluctant pursuit of justice Dark once crossed the ultimate line, a line that might cause a lesser man to lose himself completely.

Not Dark. When the world took everything from him, when it destroyed the very thing Dark once lived for, it sparked a transformation that, three years later, is only just complete.

Dark is now a man on a mission. A mission unbound by authorities. A mission that, at long last, allows him to embrace his destiny. Dark is finally ready – ready to take justice to the next level.

Review

We are back with Steve Dark.. the one man capable of hunting down the worst of the worst… Level 26s.. these are beyond the worst killers known to humankind.

After the events of the 1st book Steve is a broken man. He’s lost his adoptive family and recently the love of his life to a Level 26.. Steve managed to track him down in the end and claimed vengeance in the most horrific way..because of this Steve is no longer with the special circs team.. he lost control and he knows it would be so easy to lose control again.

While Steve tries to move on and live a normal life he knows that won’t be possible… he’s not the average person and he can’t let that side of his life go so while he’s not on the job any longer he does keep and eye out.. When a new killer appears it quickly catches Steve’s attention..

He’s not the only one interested in this killer.. not only are his old team in special circs on the case but there’s also a mysterious woman with seemingly deep pockets that temps him back into the field.. but it’s a race against time, not only to stop the killer but also to beat his old team to the scene…this isn’t a case they can work together…too much red tape.

This latest killer is on a twisted killing spree, leaving his victims posed as pictures depicted on tarot cards… but what’s the end game??

As with the previous book throughout the story you are linked to short video clips you can view online, you don’t need to view them to follow the book but it does make the book feel unique. Being released 12 years ago does mean the original website that hosted these is no longer valid but the clips are on YouTube so easily accessible.

Plot wise I loved the flow and development as Steve investigated the murders and tried to get himself into the mind of the killer but there are things that don’t make sense to Steve and I loved the development as the case progressed and these inconsistencies become resolved and the real motives are discovered.

What I also really enjoyed was Steve’s development as a character, he’s torn between grief, love for his daughter but also his urge to hunt these killers down… his mind is special..and there’s a hidden secret that may hint as to why..

Short chapters make this a quick enjoyable read.. you can always fit in one or two more chapters easy and I loved the changing perspectives and the divide between Steve and his old team that grows.

As a big fan of the CSI franchise, I really enjoyed this story and have already started on book 3.

4/5 Stars

ARC Review – The Last Line by Stephen Ronson

Today I’m reviewing The Last Line by Stephen Ronson.

Here’s the blurb.

May 1940.

With Nazi forces sweeping across France, invasion seems imminent. The English Channel has never felt so narrow.

In rural Sussex, war veteran John Cook has been tasked with preparing the resistance effort, should the worst happen.

But even as the foreign threat looms, it’s rumours of a missing child that are troubling Cook. A twelve-year-old girl was evacuated from London and never seen again, and she’s just the tip of the iceberg – countless evacuees haven’t made it to their host families.

As Cook investigates, he uncovers a dark conspiracy that reaches to the highest ranks of society. He will do whatever it takes to make the culprits pay. There are some lines you just don’t cross.

THE LAST LINE is a blistering action thriller combined with a smart noir mystery, played out expertly against the taut backdrop of the British home front.

Review

Ooooo The Last Line was little gem of a read. A bit of noir during the war.. yes please.

John Cook is an ex-military man who’s still sharp. While he would love to be back at the front he’s got the important job of helping with the resistance efforts.

Trouble comes quickly for John when he meets a girl named Mary.. she’s doesn’t know who to trust but John shows her he’s a man she could rely on.

Little does John know that just a short time later that very same girl will be found dead..and her death is brutal.

John is the prime suspect at first as he was seen with the girl, but it soon becomes clear the police aren’t really that interested.

The girl was right though.. John is a man she can rely on… he’s going to find out who hurt the girl and will bring them to justice!

This won’t be easy.. John is only at the tip of the iceberg!

The Last Line is tagged as a blistering action thriller combined with a smart noir mystery and I can’t sum it up any better. Typically as a fan of noir films I wondered how well it could come across in a book but Stephen Ronson effortlessly give us a intricate plot, mixed with the cynical undertone I love in noir.. it just worked!

The setting of the book was spot on too.. it worked so well for the plot, as at the time of the war and children being shipped off for their own safety anything could have happened!

Pace wise the chapters are a decent length.. again this just ticked the box as nothing was drawn out unnecessarily, just believable characters and the action following perfectly.

I really don’t want to give anything too vital away but the depth of the story really reminded me of the noir detective type movies I used to love watching when I was younger… edgy..dark and gritty. There’s depth not only of character but also of the plot with clever and interesting scenes throughout.

There’s clearly been a lot of time and effort put in to this offering and I for one say it’s well worth a read.

5/5 stars.

My thanks go to Stephen Ronson for reaching out and to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC.

You can pre-order the kindle version for £6.99 but If I was you opt for paperback at £9.99 😊.

If you want to find out more head to Goodreads or Amazon.

BLOG TOUR – Terminal Black by Colin Garrow

Today is my stop on the blog tour for Terminal Black by Colin Garrow.

Here’s the blurb.

A stolen identity. A hitman. A bent cop.

Relic Black takes things that don’t belong to him—credit cards, golf clubs, toothbrushes. But when a hitman mistakes him for someone else, Relic lands himself in a difficult situation. With a dead man on his hands and a guilty conscience, he sets off to save the life of the man whose identity he has stolen. And that’s when the real trouble starts…

Review

Relic Black is a man who simply takes what he wants in life. He targets those he knows won’t miss the money too quickly and enjoys living on the edge.

Little does he know that the identity he’s currently using is going to lead him into a cr*p load of trouble with the Inverness crime scene.

Relic senses something is up, and his worst thoughts are confirmed with a knock on the door… no one knows where he is.. this can’t be good.

I won’t spoil the fun too much but I loved the build-up, a frantic fight with a body to dispose of.. only for another body to show up.. and a bloody marvellous twist or 2 thrown in too! Relic really has got himself in trouble but he hasn’t a clue why..

In a aim to get himself out of trouble he tries telling the truth..but will these men believe his tale..

I loved the plot, crocked cops, gangsters, assassins and dead bodies mixed with perfectly timed dark humour leads to a 5* raving thriller!

Mr Garrow has a way with words, and perfectly sets the tone, direction and style of the tale effortlessly.

The best news was learning there’s more to come from Relic and I’ll be purchasing the next two books shortly 😊

My thanks go to Colin Garrow and Rachel’s Random Resources for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I only accept ARCs to aid timely reviews but I’ve already grabbed myself a kindle copy.. at only £2.99 it’s a steal!

BLOG TOUR – Dead Money by Keith Nixon (Jonah Pennance Crime Thrillers Book 2)

Today I help kick off the blog tour for Dead Money by Keith Nixon. Any follower of my blog will know Keith is a firm favourite of mine 😊

Here’s the blurb

With a reputation for solving bizarre murders Detective Inspector Jonah Pennance, recently transferred to the National Crime Agency, is brought in to investigate the mysterious death of celebrity fund manager, Grady Carnegie – choked to death, then his body arranged and ready for a wake.

Then a second corpse turns up under identical circumstances – that of washed-up investigative reporter, Stan Thewlis. But how are the two men connected?

Soon, Pennance’s partner, Sergeant Simone Smithson, comes under suspicion for the deaths – the evidence seems overwhelming. To save her Pennance must determine what role the shadowy organisation Blackthorn plays and who is in the background, pulling all the strings…

Review

Dead Money is the 2nd book in the Jonah Pennance Crime Thrillers series.. and I’m so glad to be back!

Pennance, who is now with the National Crime Agency Is brought in to help investigate a mysterious death. It’s clear he’s going to have his hands full the moment a 2nd body is discovered.. the only link between them at first is the method of their death..but there must be more.

As the investigation starts to gain pace there’s more than one stumbling block for Pennance to navigate.. Sergeant Simone Smithson for one..,Smithson and Pennance have a history and it’s going to make this investigation that much harder.

I’m never one for spoilers but I loved the method of death, it hooks you in straightaway as an unusual murder which you just have to see through to the end.

The characters are brilliant as ever, Keith Nixon knows how to write that’s for sure and gives a lot of depth to Pennance. He’s a flawed character, swayed by emotions at times but he’s fascinating! I love that he enjoys ruffling feathers along the way ha.

What I really loved was how the author developed characters who didn’t even say a word… the victims, especially Stan Thewlis. You can really see a lot of time was given to writing the plot ensuring a backstory full of intriguing titbits.

Nixon keeps getting better and better, if that’s even possible. All I know is every book he puts out there is a real cracking read that any fan of the genre will love!

Dead Money starts slow, setting the scene… then we are thrust into a world of misdirection as the author masterfully takes us on the investigation with Jonah.. weeding out the truth.

Probably the strongest finishing book from Nixon yet leaving me with a insatiable thirst for more!

5/5 Stars.

BLOG TOUR – Blood Sentence by Keith Nixon – Review

Today is my stop on the blog tour for Blood Sentence by Keith Nixon!

Why not follow the follow the rest of the tour?

Here’s the blurb :-

Three bodies, one suspect. That suspect is you…

When the unidentified corpse of an apparent suicide victim is found hanging above a complex pattern of forty photographs of children, Detective Inspector Jonah Pennance of the Met’s specialist Sapphire Unit is brought in to investigate.

A post-mortem reveals the suicide was murder, and Pennance realises he knows the man. But as the body count rises, all the signs point to a care home in Kent – a place that Pennance is all too familiar with.

The problem is the only person connecting the victims is Pennance – and he has a solid motive for wanting them dead… Can Pennance prove his innocence?

Perfect for fans of Ian Rankin, Stuart MacBride, and Peter James Blood Sentence is the first book in the explosive series featuring Detective Inspector Jonah Pennance.

Review

I’m a massive fan of Keith’s work so jumped at the chance to be part of the blog tour, I already had the book downloaded so was eager to get stuck in.

From the blurb I was already excited, a new series by Keith..what’s not to love? But the name Pennance.. that rung a bell. If you are a fan of Nixon’s work you’ll know Pennance had a small role in the author’s previous Solomon Gray series so I was great to see him get his own story!

I know what to expect from Keith so I’ve high expectations.. boy did he deliver! But the best thing was simply the feeling the book gave me, it felt familiar with the tie back to the authors previous work but also new and refreshing.

So you want to know about the plot. The book starts with the death of a man in strange circumstances and it soon becomes clear for DI Pennance there’s links to his past.. things he would rather forget.

His attention is drawn away as he’s pulled to Wales to assist in some enquires..the case has his name written all over it but Pennence doesn’t have a clue how he’s involved.

It’s kind of a whirlwind from then on as Pennence struggles to put the pieces together, investigating a death of an animal rights activist and how the hell it links back to him! He doesn’t even know the guy.

In Nixon’s style which I love, the author weaves the tale in such a masterful way that the truth only becomes clear when he wants it to and Penances’ world is turned upside down forever.

It’s not a typical police procedural tale, it’s a thriller, its personal, intense and gritty with some marvellous storytelling!  I almost feel bad I demolished this in a couple sittings but it’s a real page turner and sucks you in!

It’s a cracking 5/5 stars from me!

My thanks go to the author, the publisher and ZooloosBookTours for having me on the tour 😊

BLOG TOUR! Hustle by Owen Mullen

Today is my stop on the blog tour for Hustle by Owen Mullen, book 3 in The Glass Family series.

Here’s the blurb

If you mess with the Glass family, don’t expect to live to tell the tale…

What was meant to be a straightforward jewellery heist goes horribly wrong, and the thieves are forced to take a hostage to make their escape. But when they discover their prisoner is the infamous Nina Glass – one of the bosses of the most dangerous criminal dynasty in London – they soon realise they have made a terrible mistake.

Greed wins out over good sense and the gang decide to make the best of a bad situation. They send Luke Glass a ransom note. But messing with London’s top crime dynasty is a serious error. Now Luke must track down the gang who abducted his sister before they carry out their brutal threats.

The Glass family have other problems. The crooked cop they have on their payroll – DCI Oliver Stanford – makes an unwelcome discovery. The insider they had all presumed dead, may in fact have survived, and still be feeding information to the police.

Under attack from all sides, and desperate to save his sister, Luke has the reputation and survival of the crime dynasty in his hands – is this the end of the Glass family?

Three people can keep a secret – if two of them are dead…

Review

First things first, you don’t need to have read the first 2 books in the series to be able to follow this one. What I love about Owen’s work is how he easily slips in key info to remind readers of past events which is just the right amount for a new reader to be able to follow.. but at the same time I do recommend reading the rest of the series…it’s bloody good!

We are back with the Glass family and a new threat is about to hit the family hard.

During what should have been a straightforward robbery a hostage is taken.. that hostage is Nina Glass. The robbers didn’t know that at first but now they do they have a choice…and they decide its time to have a bit of fun with the Glass family..

They must be crazy as Luke Glass isn’t a man to cross but Luke might have his work cut out for him on this one… he doesn’t know who these people are.. or where they are.

Luke uses all his contacts to find Nina, even risking his inside man within the police force but will it be enough.

What I really enjoyed with this one was the development of Nina. She’s a tough cookie but we see deeper into her personality, more than we ever have before. Simply no other word for it than WOW!

With each instalment of the Glass family the tale goes deeper, darker and grittier than previous and it’s seriously too good not to read and love!

I also love how Owen manages to pack so much into his tales. Not only does Luke have to save his sister but there’s some wannabes looking for a piece of the action they feel belongs to them.. Should the family give ground or stand up to these fools.. again.. no one messes with Luke Glass. No one messes with the family.

Another 5* from Owen…I’m not sure how he manages to do it but he clearly knows the recipe for a good gangland thriller.

To find out more head to Goodreads or Amazon.

My thanks go to Owen Mullen, Boldwood Books and NetGalley for providing a copy of this ebook in return for my honest review and Rachel from http://www.rachelsrandomresources.com for having me on the blog tour!
